Do stickers and charms add value to CS2 skins?

Applied items in short

Stickers are applied to weapons and can be scraped; charms hang from the weapon. Both are visible in game and both can affect what a buyer is willing to pay. Most applied items add little or nothing – a few add a lot.

When stickers matter

Old tournament stickers, discontinued capsules, holo and foil versions and matching four-sticker 'crafts' are the main value drivers. Scrape level matters too: an unscraped rare sticker is worth far more than a heavily scraped one. Placement on the weapon is a matter of taste, but popular positions can help.

When stickers do not matter

Cheap, common stickers rarely change the price and some buyers prefer a clean weapon. Do not expect to recover the cost of cheap stickers when you sell. Price the base skin first and treat sticker value as a bonus.

Charms

Charms add a personal touch, and rare charms or low-pattern charms can carry a premium. As with stickers, the base skin usually decides most of the price. Slabbed stickers are priced like the loose sticker on cs2trading.gg.

How we price applied items

When you sell on cs2trading.gg we show applied stickers and charms on the item so the team can see them. Instant prices are based on the base item; if you believe your applied items add real value, choose Flexible and negotiate. Our Instant vs Flexible guide explains the difference.

When selling CS2 skins with a craft, a loose sticker price is not automatically added to the weapon value. Compare CS2 skin prices for the base item and choose Flexible for an individual assessment of placement and scraping. When buying CS2 skins such as AK-47 Redline or AWP Asiimov, inspect the actual listing and its applied items. Catalogue artwork does not establish a specific craft.
