Wear, phase, pattern, StatTrak and how easy the item is to sell all affect value.
Listing price is not a completed sale
An asking price tells you what a seller wants, not what a buyer has paid. Compare exact item variants and current available listings. Different marketplaces and currencies can show different values. The order review displays the actual price for the selected listing; an informational database value is not a checkout quote.
Wear, editions and applied items
Keep Normal, StatTrak and Souvenir comparisons separate. Float, pattern and named phase can influence collector interest, while applied stickers and charms need an individual assessment. Adding the loose sticker's market price to a weapon does not establish the craft's sale value. Compare the whole item and its actual condition.
Set a budget and compare available listings
Use the Buy market's lowest-price or highest-price ordering, choose your model and wear, and inspect the exact listing before ordering. Prices change with availability. The most expensive current listing is not proof of a record sale or an investment return. Choose skins for the item you want, not an assumed guaranteed profit.
