Check the bot
Always compare the bot's name, avatar and level in Steam with what the site shows before you accept.
Never share your API key
A legitimate site never needs your Steam Web API key. Revoke it if you shared it.
Use the real address
Only sign in on cs2trading.gg. Phishing sites copy logos and names.
Verify the account and the offer
Names, avatars and levels can be copied. Open the actual Steam profile and trade offer from the sale, compare the account identity and check every outgoing and incoming item. Reject an unexpected replacement offer. Steam confirmations are the final check before you approve a transfer; read them rather than approving from a notification alone.
Protect your login and recovery codes
Use Steam Guard and sign in only through the official Steam login window. Never send passwords, authenticator codes, recovery codes or browser session data to anyone. Our team does not need them. If you suspect compromise, secure your Steam account through official Steam Support and stop approving offers until the account is safe.
Keep evidence and use official support
Keep the sale reference, offer ID, timestamps and screenshots of the offer. Use support on the real cs2trading.gg site rather than a profile claiming to represent us. For account theft or an unexpected Steam trade, follow Steam's current recovery instructions. Never pay a supposed verification or recovery fee to an unsolicited contact.
