What liquidity is
Liquidity describes how quickly an item can be sold close to its market price. High-liquidity items have many buyers and many listings, so prices are clear and stable. Low-liquidity items have few trades, so the 'price' is less certain.
Liquid examples
Popular AK-47, M4 and AWP skins in common wears, well-known knives in Field-Tested and Minimal Wear and popular gloves usually trade quickly. These are good items to hold if you may want to sell later.
Illiquid examples
Extreme floats, rare patterns, expensive gems and niche skins can take much longer to sell. Their value is real, but finding the right buyer takes time. That is why such items are often valued manually.
How it affects offers
Sites must account for the time and risk of reselling an item. Liquid items can be priced closer to the market; illiquid items are priced more carefully or reviewed by a person. On cs2trading.gg, items that need a manual valuation go through Flexible.
